Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

At HD Mobile Mechanics LLC, we strive to provide dependable, high-quality mobile auto repair. Because we bring the shop to you, our policy accounts for the specialized nature of mobile service and the scheduling of our technicians.

1. Cancellation Policy

We value your time and ask that you value ours. When you book an appointment, we reserve a specific time slot and route our technicians to your location.

  • Standard Cancellations: We require at least 24 hours' notice for any appointment cancellation or rescheduling.

  • Late Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a $XX.XX cancellation fee to cover lost routing and scheduling costs.

  • No-Show Policy: If our technician arrives at the scheduled location and the vehicle or owner is not present within 15 minutes of the appointment time, the appointment will be cancelled, and a Service Call Fee will be charged.

2. Refund Policy (Services)

  • Service Fees: Diagnostic fees and "Service Call" fees (trip charges) are non-refundable once the technician has arrived at your location, as these cover the time, labor, and travel costs already incurred.

  • Labor: If you are unsatisfied with the quality of a repair, please contact us within [e.g., 7 days]. We will inspect the work, and if a technician error is found, we will rectify the issue at no additional labor cost to you.

3. Return Policy (Parts)

  • Installed Parts: Once a part has been installed on your vehicle and the vehicle has been operated, it is generally non-returnable.

  • Defective Parts: Most parts we install come with a manufacturer’s warranty. If a part fails within the warranty period, we will assist with the warranty claim. Please note that labor for replacing a defective part may be subject to additional charges unless covered by a specific HD Mobile Mechanics labor warranty.

  • Special Orders: Parts specifically ordered for your vehicle that are cancelled after the order has been placed may be subject to a restocking fee (based on our supplier’s policy).

4. Diagnostic "Misdiagnosis" Policy

Diagnostics are based on the symptoms present at the time of service. If a repair does not resolve the issue due to underlying or secondary faults not visible during the initial scan, the original diagnostic fee remains non-refundable. However, we will work with you to find a fair resolution for the follow-up repair.
